Goodyear, Arizona- The Cameron University Men's golf team completed the the first day of the Palm Valley Classic at the Palm Valley Golf Course. After the team played two rounds today, they are currently tied for 3rd in standings finishing the day with a score of fifteen under par (-15).
The Men's team is led by
Rory Gorman, who paced the field with a total score of six-under par (-6) and is tied for 15th place.
Carson Wright and
Alois Casalonga followed, each finishing at three-under par (-3), placing them tied for 23rd.
Rangel (Maximus) Cavazos added a solid round ending the day tied for 45th place with a score of one-under par (-1), while
Isaac Molloy rounded out the scoring at even par (E), placing him tied for 51st. The final round will tee off in the morning to wrap up the tournament.
