Lawton, OK - The Cameron Men's golf is set to compete in the NCAA South Central/West Regional Championships at The Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton, California from May 7th-9th. The team is ranked No. 7 in the South Central Region and is coming off winning their first Lone Star Championship victory since 2016 and its 12th Lone Star Championship in program history, which is the most in the Lone Star Conference. 

The Reserve at Spanos Park features a renowned links-style golf course designed by Andy Raugust. The course will be a par 72 and is a flatter course, with limited number of hills. It recently hosted the CCAA Golf Championships (Apr. 20-22). The teams will be playing one round per day. 

The South Central Region teams include No. 38 Cameron University as the Lone Star Conference winners, No. 19 West Texas A&M, No. 15 Colordado State University Pueblo, No. 22 Colorado Mesa, winner of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, No. 8 St. Mary's (Texas), No. 23 University of Texas Permian Basin, No. 21 Dallas Baptist University, No. 35 University of Texas at Tyler, No. 24 Colorado Christian, and No. 37 Midwestern State. The individuals competing from this region are No. 122 Traejan Andrews from Fort Lewis, Juan Monckeberg from Texas A&M International, No. 138 Liam Allan from Colorado School of Mines, and Lukas Taggart from Colorado School of Mines.

The West Region teams include No. 26 Western Washington, No. 25 Chico State, the winner of the California Collegiate Athletic Association, No. 31 Cal State East Bay, No. 28 Hawaii Hilo, the winner of the Pacific West Conference, No. 29 Cal State San Bernardino, No. 46 Simon Fraser, Cal State Monterey Bay, Cal State San Marcos, Dominican (California), and Vanguard. The individuals competing from this region are Kyle Krupp from Hawaii Pacific, Rasmus Tamker from Saint Martin's, Jacobus Brakkee from Jessup, and Troy Song from Cal State Dominguez Hills.
