LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron University men's cross country team opened the 2026 season Friday morning at the Aggie Duels, with sophomore Isaac Renteria leading the Aggies across the finish line in the men's 5K. Renteria turned in Cameron's top performance of the morning, finishing seventh overall with a time of 26:31.0. Senior Victor Ramos followed with a 12th-place finish, clocking a time of 26:57.4, while junior Noe Chretien gave the Aggies three runners inside the top 15 with a 14th-place finish in 27:17.4. Senior Cyprien Bille was the fourth Cameron runner across the line, placing 23rd with a time of 28:04.8. Sophmore Adria Estevez-Bosch rounded out Cameron's scoring five in his collegiate debut, finishing just behind Bille in 24th at 28:09.7. Philipp David finished 27th in 28:26.9, while Emmanouill Vardas crossed the line 30th with a time of 28:40.2. Gage Tilley Bedick finished in 29:41.3,Marcos Herrera recorded a time of 30:26.3 and Luke White finished in 38:09.3. Cody Bunting and Arnau Pujols DNF. Cameron's scoring five combined for a total time of 2:17:00 and an average of 27:24. East Central recorded the top team score in the season-opening meet.
