Biography

2022 (Junior)
  • Started all 49 games at the hot corner for the Aggies
  • Hit .289 with 32 runs, 43 hits, eight doubles, four homers, and 27 RBI
  • Recorded 11 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI contests
  • Totaled four hits, four runs, two homers, and six RBI in two games on 2/12
  • Went 3-3 with a homer and three RBI in game two against TAMUI (3/13)
  • Fielding Percentage of .960 with 63 defensive assists. 
2021 (Sophomore)
  • Played in 38 games and started 36 of those during her third year on campus. 
  • Hit .273 with 15 runs scored, four doubles, two homers, and 17 RBI.
  • Played a solid third base for CU, recording 43 putouts and 43 assists with just four errors all season. 
  • Nine multi-hit games including a three-hit performance against with three RBI against Ouachita Baptist on Feb. 5.
  • Drove in three runs in the 7-6 win over National Championship winner WT on April 9. 
2020 (CoVID-Sophomore)
  • Started 25 of the 26 games she played during the shortened spring.
  • Posted a .265 batting average with 22 hits.
  • Had a .398 slugging percentage with two homers, one triple, three doubles and 10 RBI.
  • Notched four multi-hit games and three multi-RBI outings.
  • Had her first collegiate homer against Southwest Baptist.
  • Went 3-4 with two runs driven in the opener against Texas Woman's.
2019 (Freshman)
  • French turned in a .318 batting average in 2019 good enough for 5th on the Black and Gold roster. 
  • Played in 41 games and started 30 for CU as a freshman. 
  • French stole three bases on four attempts good enough for a tie in the best steal percentage category for the Aggies.
