2017-18 (Junior): In his final season on campus, Long led the Aggies with 11.6 points, 4.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per contest. He started in all 28 games for CU, ranking in the top-10 of the LSC in assists and steals, and ranking No. 1 in the league and 23rd nationally with a 2.73 assist/turnover ratio. Long had 17 games with 10 or more points and four with 20 or more. He set a season and career high with 25 points at Western New Mexico and had a double-double (13 points/10 assists) against Dallas Baptist. JV was named third team All-LSC for his second all-conference selection.
2016-17 (Sophomore): Long commanded the court as the Aggies' starting point guard in all 29 games his sophomore season. He was first on the team in rebounding, grabbing 5.6 boards per game and assists by averaging 4.2 per game to tie for first in the Lone Star Conference. He was second in the league in assist/turnover ratio at a 2.4 clip. Long was the Aggies' second top scoring by averaging 11.9 points per game. He also shot 49.3 percent from the field. Additionally, he averaged 1.2 steals per game. He was awarded All-LSC Second Team post season honors for his impact performance that season.
2015-2016 (Redshirt Freshman): Scored 10 points and had 2 steals in an exhibition game against UT El Paso (10/31)... Had 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals against Newman (11/13)... Recorded 13 points, four rebounds, and three steals in the win over Oklahoma Christian (11/14)... Scored 14 points with 5 assists and 2 steals against Colorado Mesa (11/20)... In the win over Western (11/21), he scored 7 points with 3 rebounds... Against Dallas Christian (11/24), he recorded 6 points with 4 rebounds and 4 steals... Scored 8 points with 3 rebounds and 2 assists in the win over Drury (11/27)... Against Truman State (11/28), he had 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists... Scored 11 points with 3 assists against Rogers State (12/5)... In the win over Bacone (12/13), he had 6 points, 5 assists, and 2 rebounds... Scored a career high 21 points to go along with 3 rebounds and 3 assists against WT (12/31)... Against Tarleton (1/2), he scored 13 points, had 3 steals, and 2 assists... Scored 12 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, and had 2 assists and 2 steals in the win over Eastern NM (1/7). Versus West Texas (1/10), he scored 14 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, and a steal... Scored 18 points and had 5 rebounds in the win over Angelo State (1/20)... In the win against Texas A&M-Kingsville (1/23), he scored a team high 17 points and 5 assists... Scored 12 points and had 5 assists in the big win over Midwestern (1/30)... Against Texas A&M Commerce (2/3), he scored 8 points and had 6 assists... He scored 13 points, had 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals in the win over Tarleton (2/6)... Versus Kingsville (2/20), he scored 7 points, had 5 rebounds, 9 assists and a steal... Scored 7 points and had 4 assists against Midwestern State (2/27). In the conference tournament win against WT (3/3), he scored 8 points, had 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal. In the conference tournament game against Midwestern (3/4), he scored 12 points, had 4 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals...
2014-15: Missed season due to preseason injury.
2013-14: Played his first minutes of Cameron against OCU(12/7) scoring four points dishing out two assists, and grabbing two rebounds...missed rest of season due to injury.
High School: After leading his team to a 20-8 record his senior year, he was named All-District First Team Class 5-7A and All-District and Class 5 All-State Academic Team ... averaged 12 points 6 assists 5 rebounds 3 steals a game.
