"Picks Up" used during free throws during home men's and women's basketball games and post-game for the Alma Mater. It has also become a used symbol for most of our teams when they go to breakout during practice or prior to a game. 

To do a "Pick Axe" simply close your middle three fingers and extend your thumb and pinky finger out.  While the Aggies are at the free throw line, raise your arm out with the Pick Axe for an Aggie point.  

Following the game or match the Aggies will head toward the student section for the Alma Mater and do the Pick Axe with the crowd.
