Cameron University Athletics

Reed joined the Aggie coaching staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2018. He assists with the day to day operations of the Cameron men's basketball program, including scouting, recruiting, practice prep, etc. 

Prior to spending last season at Bacone College as an assistant coach, Reed served as an assistant at Pratt for a 2016 season that saw the team win the Jayhawk Confefrence East Division. Reed also spend three seasons as part of Labette Community College's coaching staff and spent two seasons as the Director of Operations at Northwestern State. 

As a student-athlete, Reed was named All-Conference during his only season as a Cameron Aggie, averaging 11.9 points and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 43 percent from the floor. Prior to coming to CU, Reed was a first team All-Conference player at Labette Community College where he finished his career as the fifth leading scorer in program history. 

Born Christopher Mekaile Reed, the Aggie coach was born in Denham Springs, La.
