During his time as both the Strength and Conditioning Coach and Spirit Team Coach, Flood took both aspects of Cameron Athletics to new heights. As the program's first full-time strength and conditioning coach, he led the Aggie student-athletes in the weight room to perform better on the playing surface and be more injury resilient. Flood also led the charge in a noticeable improvement in the Cameron Spirit Team, leading them to multiple awards, including a 3rd place finish at the 2016 UCA College National Championships.

Before Cameron, Flood worked as a strength and conditioning coach at Fort Sill. He also previously worked in a similar role at the University of Tennessee, Western Carolina University, University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, and University of Wisconsin – Green Bay.

The Appleton, Wisc., native earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science at UW- La Crosse and his Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education with a concentration in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
