Biography

2019-20 (Senior):
- Started in 23 of the 24 games she played this season, averaging a team-high 33.4 minutes per game.
- Second on the team and sixth in the LSC scoring 15.4 points per game. 
- Made a program record 101 three-pointers, while hitting almost 40 percent of her shots from three.
- Led all of NCAA DII and set a LSC record with her 4.21 three-point field goals per outing. 
- Averaged 4.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. 
- Had 18 double-digit scoring games and seven with 20-plus points.
- Notched 30 points and made a program high 10 threes against Angelo State.
- Tallied her first career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds against TAMUK.
- Had a career-high 31 points with nine triples against Texas A&M International.
- Became the 11th player in program history to reach 1,000 points for a career on Jan. 9 against St. Mary's.

2018-19 (Junior)

- Finished third on the team with 10.8 points per game, shooting over 38 percent from the field, 39 percent from three, and 83 percent from the foul line 
- First in the conference in three-point field goals attempted (197), second in threes made (78), and tops in three-point field goals per game (2.79) 
- Battese made three or more three-pointers in 12 games including eight against Tarleton State. 
- Scored a season-high 27 points against the TexAnns while going 8-13 from the perimeter 
- Tallied 23 points against Emporia State and 20 against West Texas A&M
- Broke the career record for three-point field goals made on Jan. 12 against UT Permian Basin when she hit two to give her 181 for her career.
- Named honorable mention All-Lone Star Conference

2017-18 (Sophomore)

- Battese had a great sophomore season, ranking second on the Aggie squad with 12.2 points per contest.
- The three point specialist led the LSC and was third in DII in perimeter shots attempted, 13 in threes made, and ninth in three pointers per game, knocking down 3.07 long balls per contest.
- First in the LSC with 36.21 minutes played per game
- She had 22 games of 10 or more points and 17 games with three or more three pointers made.
- Battese's best game came in the LSC Tournament when she scored a career-high 29 points on 8-13 from the field, including making a program high seven threes against Texas A&M-Commerce.
- Member of the Cameron Athletics All-Academic Team and received D2 ADA Academic Honors

2016-17 (Freshman)
- In her debut season with the Aggies, Battese averaged 7.7 points per game and reached double figures in scoring in nine games.
- She was a threat beyond the arc, draining at least one three-pointer in all but two games, making 53 total and led the team by averaging 2.2 treys per game. 
- Battese also recorded 24 steals in her freshman year.
- Her standout game of the season was against Texas Woman's where she recorded a season high 17 points and made five shots from downtown.
