Kaci Watanabe enters her first season as a graduate assistant for Cameron University Volleyball in the 2026-2027 season.

Watanabe works closely with the Aloha Region commissioner assisting with event logistics for USA Volleyball tournaments ensuring smooth operations.  The Wahiawa, Hawai'i native has organized both club-wide and position specific training for youth athletes and served as head coach for a local club team in central O‘ahu for the 2025-2026 season.  

Watanabe earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education and Youth Studies with a minor in Environmental Studies from Beloit College in 2025.  Watanabe was a member of the women’s volleyball program at Beloit College from 2021-2024 and earned Midwest Conference Academic All-Conference honors.  During her final season with the Buccaneers, Watanabe was recognized as Beloit College’s Comeback Player of the Year in 2024-2025.
