Royden Silva enters his first season as an assistant coach for Cameron University Volleyball in the 2026-2027 season.

Before Cameron, he was an assistant coach for Florida Tech Institute of Technology in Melbourne for the 2025-2026 season. His job consisted of recruiting, practice planning, stats, and day to day tasks.

Back in Hawaii he had a tenure for being an assistant coach, for high school, club, and college ball. He was an assistant coach for the 16’s and under team at the Honolulu Volleyball Club (HNL) for the season of 2026-2027. He assisted his wife Danlynn Silva with Maunalani Volleyball Nike Team for the seasons of 2020-2025. It was an elite Nike team who had the opportunity to be sponsored by Nike for 2 seasons. During his gap years of coaching, he chose to have a family and create a successful construction business from 2001- to present. Royden gained experience coaching at a predominant high school Kamehameha for the girls seasons of 1998-2000. The Kohala, Hawai’i native coached within his home town the Kohala boys high school team from 1994-1996. His beginnings started at Brigham Young University-Hawaii with the Women’s Volleyball team back in 1992-1994, so many opportunities that created great knowledge for volleyball.
