Box Score KINGSVILLE, Texas – Cameron survived an early scare against Bacone and a second half surge proved to be enough to get the win 75-60 in Kingsville. Â
The Aggies (3-1) in the first half relied on shooting from the arc hitting five three pointers and held a nine point lead early.Â
Bacone (2-6) on the other hand was not ready to let the Aggies runaway with the lead after hitting a critical three pointer to close the CU lead to four points forcing Head Coach Wade Alexander to burn a 20 second timeout midway through the first half.
By the end half Bacone was on the heels of Cameron trailing by two points (36-34 CU lead).

Craig Foster showed the way offensively in the first half with 14 points. Kimric Dixon would have nine points relying on hitting three from downtown.
Six minutes into the second half the Aggie lead remained at two until they would go a 12-0 run to pull away from the Warriors winning 75-60
Craig Foster put together a career high 25 points shooting 9-14 from the field with a block and three steals. Kimric Dixon scored a season high 14 points for the Black and Gold going 4-7 from the arc. After getting tagged with three quick fouls in the first half, Tim Johnson went 3-3 from the field and was perfect 4-4 from the charity stripe for 10 points.
As a team Cameron shot 50.9% from the field (27-53) and 77.8% (14-18) from the free throw line.Â
The Aggies also dominated the rebounding battle with 39 compared to 25 from the Warriors. Additionally, CU worked well with their inside game getting 36 point in the paint.
Cameron will return home for the next few days before returning to Kingsville to open the Lone Star Conference season on Nov. 28 against Texas A&M Kingsville.
