Box Score LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Craig Foster's career high 26 points and a late second half surge was not enough for the Aggies who would fall to Rollins College at the Doolittle Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
The loss for Cameron returns them back to .500 (5-5) overall and they will return to Lawton with a split.
Foster went off with six three-pointers and went 9-16 from the field, bettering his career high by one. He also added five assists and three rebounds. Jonathan Patino pulled in a season high 12 points and three rebounds.
The Aggies had little answers for the Tars from beyond the arc who hit nine shots from downtown in the first half. Cameron didn't help the cause in ball possession as Rollins picked off six steals and they accumulated 14 points off of turnovers.
Cameron went on a small 8-2 run midway through the half to cut the Rollins lead down to 13 but the Tars responded back with 10-2 run to end the half leading 45-24.
Through the first half the Aggies shot 31.0% (9-29) from the field and hit three from downtown off of 12 shots.
Leading scorers for CU was Foster with eight points and Rudy Harrell with six points.
At the start of the second half both teams traded buckets until the Tars went on a 8-1 swing at the 13:08 mark to extend their lead to 28 points, 61-33.
In the final five minutes of the game the Aggies went on an unbelievable run knocking down three pointers and trimming the Tars lead down to seven with 19 seconds left.
When the game came down to fouling and hitting free throws the Tars hit their shots to close the book on the Aggies winning, 88-76.
Additionally for CU, Harrell for the second day in a row hit double-figures with 12 points and four rebounds.
The Aggies outscored the Tars 52-43 in the second half and shot a blazing 52.9% from the field.  They ended the day with 11 three-pointers which was the highest team total since Jan. 6, 2011 against Angelo State (12 made).
Cameron will be off until Dec. 28 to play at UT-El Paso in exhibition play, they will return to the Aggie Gym on Jan. 2 to host Angelo State in Lone Star Conference action.
