LAWTON – Cameron snapped a three game skid with a 68-61 win on the road against Oklahoma Christian on Saturday to conclude a five game road swing for the Aggies.  Rogers State will come of the Aggie Gym for the first time in the senior college era to start three straight games at home for CU to conclude the 2014 regular season schedule. A quick look at the Hillcats: Rogers State enters their contest with a 5-2 overall record and last playing on Thursday at home getting a 94-57 win against Dallas Christian, who Cameron will play next Saturday.  The Hillcats' two losses were to top-25 teams, Metro State in their season opener (73-68), and UC-Colorado Springs (75-60).   On Nov. 29, they defeated Northwestern Oklahoma in Claremore, 80-70, at team that CU has faced on the road and beat 78-54.  The other common opponent between both teams is East Central, RSU would get an 84-70 win at home, while Cameron fell to ECU at Drury, 95-94, in overtime. RSU has five players averaging just over nine points a game and three in double-figures with DesJuan Newton pacing RSU with 12.3 points, Frederico Santos comes in with 11.9 ppg, and J.C Hartzler scores 10 a game. Â
As a team, RSU is shooting 48.9 percent from the field, 32.7 percent from the arc, and pulls down 41 rebounds a game.
This will be the first meeting between Rogers State and Cameron, however the Aggies have played an previous incarnation of RSU, Oklahoma Military Academy, from 1949 to 1967, where CU led the overall series 9-3.

Deondre Ray paced the Aggies with 20 points to lead them a 68-61 win at Oklahoma Christian on last Saturday afternoon.  Cameron was aided by 10 steals off of Oklahoma Christian and netted 22 points which helped guide the Ags to the win.
In the first half, the Aggies led as many as 16 points after opening with a 22-5 lead on the Eagles. Oklahoma Christian closed the gap on CU before the half concluded and got within five, 30-20, with 48 seconds left in the half. Â
Desmond Henry would finish the opening half in the next possession with a jumped for his tenth point and sent the Aggies with 32-25 lead the half.
Cameron returned to their offensive assault in the second half on OC and after aÂ
Cameron Lee bucket with 11:46 the Aggies were up 46-33 with 11:49 to go.   However, Oklahoma Christian was not done and went on a 15-2 run afterward to get within a pair with just under seven left in the game. The Eagles continued to circle the Aggies for the next three minutes before Ray knocked down a three-pointer to make it at least a two-possession advantage the rest of the way for CU.
Henry was CU's leading rebounder with six, he would also add 13 points, and have a career high seven assists.
Despite shooting 3-19 at the arc, the Aggies shot 45.9 percent on the floor; Oklahoma Christian went 40.8 percent on their side of the court.  Cameron won the rebounding battle by six with 37 boards, and had five fewer turnovers with 12 overall.
Looking forward:Â Seven contests into the season, the Aggies have the highest three-point percentage (44.4) and second highest shooting percentage (51.2) in the Lone Star Conference. Â Cameron has averaged just over 80 point per game with
 Deondre Ray leading the way with 15.3, which is seventh highest in the LSC; Ray also leads the league three triples made a game.  Desmond Henry paces CU with just over six boards a game with CU coming through with just under 40 overall a contest.
