Game Notes | Live Stats | Live Video

The Starting Five:
1. Craig Foster needs one assist to tie and two to move to third all-time in assists at Cameron.  Presently he is at 321, one back of Carlos Mayes who played at Cameron from 1987 to 1990.
2. Cameron has won their last three games in a row against the Greyhounds and holds a 14-5 lead at home as a four year program.
3. Craig Foster has scored in 48 straight games and started in the last 47 for CU.
4. This is Eastern New Mexico's second trip to the Aggie Gym this season, they faced Henderson State on Dec. 13 in a neutral site game and lost 89-82.
5. Will Cook is fifth highest the Lone Star Conference in scoring at 16.1 points per game.

First Tip: At six games the Aggies are in their longest losing streak since the 2009-10 where they lost 12 games in a row to end the season.  Three of those losses where three points or less with two of them coming in overtime.  On the other side, CU's three conference wins were all razor thin as well coming in three points or under.

Craig Foster has averaged 22.5 points and 7.5 assists in his last two games and looks to have found is 2012-13 grove.  Will Cook has hit double-digit scoring in 18 of 20 games this season and leads the CU squad with 16.1 points per game.

About Eastern New Mexico: Eastern New Mexico is 12-9 overall and 5-4 in the LSC, their last game was on Saturday at Angelo State where they would fall 77-75.  Their league losses were to Cameron, Midwestern State, and Tarleton State.

As a team ENMU is in the middle of the pack in scoring (74.7 ppg) and defense (69.9 ppg).  In field goal percentage they are last (42.8%) but leads the pack in steals averaging over eight per contest.  Rodney Blackmon is the Greyhounds leading scorer with 15.7 points per game, which is good for sixth best in the league.

Last time out for the Aggies:  Will Cook put up 22 points and Jonathan Patino matched a career high 14 points but the Cameron men's basketball team would fall to #2 Tarleton State 75-74 in overtime.

The Texans jumped out in front in overtime with a bucket before the score would tie twice. Tarleton State's Mohammand Lee sank a bucket and was fouled in the process of making the shot; he would make the free-throw to give TSU a 71-69 lead.

Both teams traded three-pointers and Tank Mayberry got a layup to tie the game at 74 with 38 seconds left. In the next possession TSU's Chuck Guy was fouled with two seconds left and put up the go ahead free-throw to win the game.

Last time out for the Greyhounds:  Rodney Blackmon scored 24 points and got a career-high six steals but the Greyhounds would fall 77-75 at Angelo State.

ENMU made 35.1 percent (20-57) of their shots with 11 of their made field goals coming from beyond the arc. The Greyhounds won turnover battle with 24 while collecting 11 themselves.

On this date...this will be the first time both programs have met on Feb. 12, the Aggies are 5-8 overall and have lost their six in a row on this day.

A win for Cameron would mean...snapping a six game losing streak and at least staying one game back of the eighth in the Lone Star Conference.

A win for Eastern New Mexico would mean...their fifth win at Cameron in program history and remaining at least two games ahead of fifth in the LSC.

Wilson Watch: If Craig Foster earns two more assists he will move to third all-time at Cameron in assists.  Presently he is 20 assists away from Jeff Wilson who had 341 in 1978-80 for CU.   Foster would just need to average 3.3 assists in the Aggies next six games to move up to second in the record books.

Coming Up: Cameron will travel on Saturday, Feb 15 to Canyon, Texas to play West Texas A&M in league play.  The Aggies next home contest is on Feb. 19 against Texas A&M Kingsville.
