First Tip:
Cameron will be making their 31st matchup with Texas A&M Kingsville with both teams locked in a 15 wins each.  Both have dominated their home courts since their first meeting on Nov. 26, 1977, Cameron is 12-4 on the floor of the Aggie Gym.

The last time these two teams met in Lawton it was the seventh time in program history that Ags were pushed to double-overtime.  Cameron last season led by eight points and relied on double-digit scoring from four players to propel them to the late night win.

Wednesday's game will be the final late night home game at home for the Aggies and second to last home game this season.

Standing Scenarios: With three games remaining in the regular season Cameron could land anywhere between the three and eight seed for the Lone Star Conference Tournament.  For the Aggies to climb to the three seed both Angelo State and Eastern New Mexico would need to go 0-3 the rest of the way, while Cameron needs to go 3-0.

Presently the Aggies are tied with Texas A&M Commerce in for the five seed but several other games would need to be played out before concise tie-breaker could be determined.

About Texas A&M Kingsville: With three conference wins this season the Javelinas have beaten Cameron, Texas A&M Commerce, and Angelo State.  So far this season they have only one LSC road win which on Feb. 1 at Angelo State (79-69). Additionally, Kingsville has not taken the home-and-home series with the Aggies under league play since the 1992 season.

As a team this season the Javelinas are averaging 70 points a game while allowing around 76 on the other side of the court, in rebounding they are just behind CU at 31.2 per contest.  Rashad Basley is Kingsville's leading threat on the floor and he is third in the league averaging 16.9 points per game and is shooting 47.6% on the floor.

Last time out for the Aggies:  Craig Foster played the entire game and lead CU with 23 points to snap a seven game losing streak at West Texas A&M 63-58 on Saturday.

Will Cook was the other Aggie in double-digits with 13 points; he would also pull down seven rebounds. Jonathan Patino in his first start since the second game of the season matched Cook with seven boards.

As a group Cameron edged the Buffs in rebounding 35 to 33 and shooting 46.2% (24-52) to 44% (22-50).

Last time out for the Javelinas:  The Javelinas played shorthanded without Ronald Scott in the second half and Rashad Basey and lost to Tarleton State 94-58 in Kingsville.  Despite the injury in the first half, Scott led Kingsville with 23 points, Irvin Hollinger finished with 11 points off the bench. The Javelinas finished at 38% from the floor in the game.

On this date...On February 19 the Aggies are .500 (6-6) overall as a four-year program and will be the first matchup between these two schools on this day.

A win for Cameron would mean...winning two games in a row and moving two games ahead of Kingsville in the league standings with two games two to.

A win for Texas A&M Kingsville would mean...sweeping Cameron and having the seeding tiebreaker if both schools were to tie in the conference standings.

Coming Up: Cameron has two games remaining in regular season; they will travel to Angelo State on Saturday and on March 1st they will face Midwestern State for homecoming.
