LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron tennis teams continued their homestand with a pair of wins against McMurry on Thursday afternoon with the women coming up with an 8-1 victory and the men edging the War Hawks 5-4.
In the women's match the Aggies would never trail from start to finish starting with a 2-1 advantage out of doubles.

Samantha Wood won in the two slot 8-1 and
Magdalena Kovinic /
Antonia Moberg pulled through in the thee slot with an 8-6 victory.
Singles competition was all Cameron with their second clean sweep in the last two days by taking the one through six slots. In the top singles spot Torres took her first career sweep 6-0, 6-0 over Lauren Renner.
Florencia Tornero and Wood won their 17th singles win of the season on Thursday with Wood winning her match 6-1, 6-1 and Tornero pulling ahead 7-6, 6-4.
The Aggie men also took a 2-1 lead leaving doubles competition and they would need the advantage later in the match.

Dean Weigelt in the two doubles slot proved key difference against McMurry after Cameron would split singles play 3-3.
Dennis Merdan took the top singles slot 6-1, 6-3,
Felipe Oyarzun won in the three-slot 6-1, 6-4, and
Angelo Lencioni finished ahead in the four-slot 6-3, 7-5.
With the wins against McMurry, the Aggie women moved to 15-4 overall and the men climbed to 15-6.
Both teams will return to the court on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the women facing Newman, and the men playing Bethany College.
