Last time out: The Aggies fell to Dallas Baptist on Wednesday after DBU shot 57.4% on the floor and went 19-for-32 from long range to win the non-conference battle 96-78 in Texas. Cameron maintained an early lead, but back-to-back three pointers from DBU put the Patriots ahead 16-10, a lead they would hold for the first half to take a 47-38 advantage into the locker room. CU pulled within five points in the second half but could not cool off a hot shooting Dallas Baptist to trail by as many as 20 points late. Cameron shot 27-for-61 from the field with only two made three-point shots but edged DBU in rebounds 31-to-23.
Jamaal Brantley led the Aggies with 15 points and nine rebounds, he would also have a team high six assists.
JV Long and Ray both had 11 each with
Delvonte Pierre and
Christian Crockett hitting double-digits with 10 points.
About Rogers State: The Hillcats are perfect in their first six games heading into their contest with Cameron.  At home in Claremore, RSU has won their last 11 contests and since basketball was re-established in the 2007-08 season, the Hillcats hold a 97-20 home record. Rogers State's offense has averaged 93.3 per game this season, which if they weren't a NCAA Division II transitional program would land them 17th highest in the nation. The Hillcats opened their season at UA-Fort Smith's Classic and stunned the then 18th ranked Metro State Roadrunners 71-50.  As a team, RSU has four individuals in double-figures with J.C. Hartzler leading his squad with 19.3 points per outing.  In rebounding, RSU is +12 on teams with 40.8 per contests, Travis Julien leads the team with 5.8 per game. Rogers State last played on Nov. 30 and knocked down 17 treys to overwhelm Bacone 118-64.
CU vs. RSU Series:Â This will be Cameron's first official trip to play Rogers State in Claremore. Â However, the Aggies had a long history with the Oklahoma Military Academy (OMA), which RSU transitioned from in the 1970s. Â Cameron last played Claremore in 1964 against OMA in the junior college era. Â The Aggies last win in Claremore was under Gerald Stockton on Feb. 3, 1962 (100-69) when both teams were in the Oklahoma JC Conference. Â As a four-year institution, both programs have faced each other once with RSU picking up a road win in Lawton last season.
