LAWTON -- Cameron close out the regular season with a trip south on I44 to Midwestern State on Saturday. The Aggies will not know if they are the six or seven seed in the Lone Star Conference Tournament until after their contest with the Mustangs.

Aggie senior Desmond Henry has scored in 27 straight contests and is the only player to start in all 25 games this season. Henry needs only four more points to be Cameron's 17th member of the 1,000 point club. 3. CU has the second best field goal percentage in the LSC (49.3%)4. The Rams entered the contest with two losses all season and with a chance to clinch at least a share of the league title with a win. Instead, the Aggies shot 61.9 percent from field off of only 46 shots attempted to turn back the Rams.
Desmond Henry had his fourth 20 point game and his second 25 point game in a row to lead CU, he also provided the Ags with a dunk in the closing seconds to extend the lead to three points.
Jamaal Brantley added 21 points to the Cameron offensive attack. The win was also Cameron's first against a ranked opponent this season in eight chances.
Over 25 years have passed since Cameron's last win at Midwestern State and the Aggies have dropped their last 16 in a row at Wichita Falls. The Aggies three wins have come few and far between with CU winning in 1968, 1979, and 1990. This will be the 68th meeting between the Aggies and Mustangs with MSU commanding the series 44-23 over Cameron. In their last ten meetings Cameron is 1-9 with their lone win coming two seasons ago in Lawton.
About Midwestern State: The Mustangs are 3-3 in their last six outings and last time out they beat Texas A&M-Kingsville in Wichita Falls 76-53. In 20 contests this season, MSU is scoring just over 74 points and is shooting 45.7 percent, while allowing 64 a game. The Mustangs are one of the best at defending the three-pointer with teams shooting 29.4 percent at the arc, Cameron is 38.5 percent from downtown this season. Bretson McNeal is sixth best in the LSC with 15.8 points per game and he is a threat from the arc with 3.0 three pointers a game, and a 45.9 percent success rate. Xavier Blackburn is pacing MSU with just over six rebounds a game, and Trevor Fuller is second the LSC with 1.8 blocks a game. As a team, the Mustangs are second best in the LSC in rebounding with 41.0 boards a contest. At the charity stripe, MSU is last with their players hitting buckets 64.2 percent of the time.
Last Time Out Against The Mustangs: Cameron managed to get within six points late but they fell to Midwestern State 88-77 at the Aggie Gym on Jan. 31.
KeDorian Sullivan led the Aggies with 16 points, but the CU offense was paced by
Desmond Henry who had a double-double with 12 points and 10 assists;
Jamaal Brantley was the other CU player in double figures with 15 points.
Midwestern's three point attack guided them through the game with 65 percent shooting from downtown and 13 made treys, Breston McNeal and Derrell Gibbs combined for 11 alone. Cameron countered with eight;
