The victory snapped a five game skid to Tarleton State with the Aggies' last win over the Texans dating back to the 2013 season.

LSC Championship Dogfight: Heading into Wednesday night the Aggies are tied with West Texas A&M for first place in the LSC standing with four games remaining in the regular season. With Cameron's game coming on Thursday the Aggies will sit on Wednesday and see if things tip their direction. The best possible situation for the Aggies is for West Texas A&M to fall at Midwestern State. If Cameron beats ENMU on Thursday at home, they will have a full game lead in the league and could clinch at least a share of the LSC regular season title on Feb. 20 vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville if they win at Angelo State next Wednesday. If WT beats MSU, Cameron will need to win to stay tied for first place and at the very least create some distance between the middle of the LSC field that has MSU, Tarleton State, Angelo State, and Texas A&M-Commerce all tied with league records at 5-4.Â
About Eastern New Mexico:Â The Greyhounds have compiled a 6-15 overall record and are 2-7 in the LSC heading into the contest with the Aggies. ENMU's two league wins came against Texas A&M-Commerce, 72-60 and more recently against Texas A&M-Kingsville, 74-71 last Wednesday. The Greyhounds fell 100-67 in their most recent outing at No. 9 Angelo State. Against conference opponents, the Greyhounds are shooting 41% from the field, 33% behind the arc, and 56.5% at the line. The team is last in turnover margin (-4.22) and assist/turnover ratio (0.56). Lawrence Domingo leads the Greyhounds with 13.4 ppg, and 8.7 rpg for 3rd best in the LSC. Javaan Mumtaz scores 13.1 ppg and is second in the LSC at 3-point percentages at 49.1%.
Last Time vs. Eastern New Mexico:Â
Jamaal Brantley's career afternoon carried the Aggies to a 90-79 road win over Eastern New Mexico in their first meeting this season. Brantley scored 27 points and had six rebounds to lead the Aggies; his afternoon bested his previous high by two which was set on New Year's Eve at West Texas A&M. The same could not be said for ENMU who coughed up the ball 19 times and the Aggies scored 26 of their points from Greyhound miscues. Cameron won the rebounding battle by four with 39, redshirt-freshman
Tyus Momoh led the Aggies with a career high seven boards.
