OKLAHOMA CITY – The Aggies held Mid-American Christian to one run in a doubleheader sweep on Tuesday afternoon, defeating the MACU Evangels 7-0 in game one, and capping the day with a 6-1 victory.

In game one, Cameron would shutout MACU 7-0 with pitcher
Emily Wasinger (3-1) picking up the win for the Aggies after allowing only one hit and fanning five batters.

Cameron started things off with a two out RBI single down the left field line by
Sonora Zukerman to go up 1-0. The Aggies would pick up momentum in the third inning for three runs including a two RBI single from
Chelsea DeLong for the 4-0 advantage.

The Evangels would get their only hit of the game during the sixth inning on a two out single to shortstop, but grounded out to retire the side. Cameron would put the game further out of reach in the seventh inning when
Paige Ramey hit an RBI triple and DeLong scored her with a sacrifice fly to right field.

Zukerman went 2-for-4 on the game with one double and an RBI; DeLong recorded 3 RBI.

Game two had an interesting start as
Macy McKay reached on an error by the pitcher and would advance to third base and score on an error by the first baseman to put the Aggies up 1-0. The Aggies extended their lead to 4-0 in the third inning as
Annie Combs hit an RBI double and Zukerman hit a two RBI double.

Carly Allerheiligen would hit a two RBI double herself in the top of the fifth, and the Evangels would get their only run of the game in the bottom of the sixth from a two out RBI double to center field.

Alyssa Osterdock (4-3) recorded the win in the circle, striking out two and allowing five hits. Zukerman had a 4-for-8 effort in the double header, recording two doubles and three RBI.

With the win, Cameron moves to 10-5 overall, and this weekend the Aggies will travel to Tahlequah to play four games in the Northeastern State Invitational.Â
