DURANT -- The Cameron volleyball team couldn't get going in their season opener on Friday afternoon against Central Oklahoma falling in straight sets (25-7, 25-16, 25-14).
Cameron never led the Bronchos in the match where they hit .010 as a team, with 21 kills, and 20 errors.

Haleigh McClain-Ward was one short of a double-double with ten assists and nine digs. UCO hit .372 against the Ags with 44 kills on 94 swings; they would also stuff the Aggies at the net with ten team blocks.
The match was competitive early in the first set but after a kill by
Hailey Lafler put the score at 10-7 with UCO holding the edge, the Aggies would shutdown on offense, and the Bronchos rattled off 15 straight points to take the set.
Set two was Cameron's best outing against Central Oklahoma with CU hitting .103, but seven unanswered points midway through by the Bronchos distanced them 19-9.
Central Oklahoma controlled the final set with a 9-1 run on the Aggies to take a 19-6 led to guide them to a sweep.
The loss snapped a three game season opening winning streak for the Aggies and it is UCO's second straight win over Cameron.
Cameron will return to the court on Friday night at 7 p.m. against Southern Arkansas.
