The Saints of Maryville are a perfect 2-0 after their first weekend of games, taking down Cedarville 79-70 and Trevecca Nazarene 86-66; they also defeated Division I Miami of Ohio 84-80 in their exhibition. Through their first two games, Maryville shot almost 45 percent from the field, 44 percent from three and 68 percent from the free throw line. They out rebounded their opponents by an average of eight boards and own a +1 turnover margin.
Nolan Berry leads the team with 18.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per contest; he is shooting 60 percent from the field. Additionally, Casey Teson is averaging 15.5 points, Marvin Grant-Clark averages 12.5, and Teehjay Bogan is scoring 12 points per contest. They have all three combined to hit on 17 of the Saints' 21 made three pointers this season.
Looking Back:
The Aggie men's basketball team split their opening weekend at the Heartland/Lone Star Conference challenge, losing to Newman in their season opener but then coming back to beat Oklahoma Christian the next day. Against Newman, Cameron trailed by 16 at the half but used a 51-35 second half to tie the game and send it to overtime; CU lost in overtime 87-85. Five Aggies scored in double figures with
Tyler Williams leading the way with 16 points. The Aggies continued their second half momentum into their next game as they handled Oklahoma Christian's late comeback and won 80-69.
Johann Tate had a stellar second half and scored 21 total points to lead the Black and Gold.

Cameron will follow up their trip to Missouri with a road contest at Dallas Baptist on Tuesday, Nov. 21 before hosting Southwestern Oklahoma State for their home opener on Saturday, Nov. 25.
