First tip:
- The Aggies start their final road stretch of the season as they visit Angelo State and Texas A&M-Kingsville, who both have been tough for CU to beat on the road.
- Cameron is coming off back-to-back home loses to Tarleton State and Texas A&M-Commerce last week, but are still in eighth in the South Central regional rankings.
- Against TSU, CU was down 11 at the half and outscored the Texans in the second half, but the deficit was too much to overcome;
Trey Hall had 22 points and
Tyus Momoh had 19 points for CU.
- Two days later, the Ags found themselves in a similar situation with the Lions, as they were only able to score 14 points in the paint and get to the free throw line 10 times in the 73-65 loss;
Delvonte Pierre led CU with 14 points.
- Cameron is averaging 76 points per game and has a scoring margin of just 4.3 over their opponents.
- The Aggies shooting has improved a bit over the past few weeks as they are shooting just a bit over 41 percent from the field, 35.5 percent from the perimeter, and 66.2 percent from the free throw line.

JV Long has continued to be a solid all-around player for CU, averaging 11.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, four assists, and 1.1 steals per game; against TSU he was just two assists shy of a triple-double.
- Momoh has showed off some clutch shooting as of late, draining three triples in both the Tarleton and Commerce games.
- While his numbers fell off a bit this past week,
Tyler Williams is still averaging 11.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per contest.
- Pierre and Hall are just a few double-digit performances away from averaging 10 points on the season as Pierre is sitting at 9.9 points per game and Hall is averaging 9.3.
About Angelo State:
- Since starting out the season 10-0, the Rams have gone 2-6, most recently lost two straight to the Javelinas.
- ASU is averaging 80.5 points per game, but their defense has been lights out ranking top-10 in the nation in blocked shots, defensive rebounds, field goal defense, and three point defense.
- Quay King is second in the LSC with 19.7 points per game, while ranking third in the nation in three pointers made per contest.
- Justin Hollins and Thomas Tshikaya are both in the top-10 of the LSC in blocked shots per game, while Tshikaya is fifth in the league in rebounding.
The series vs. ASU:
- Rams lead 27-17.
- The Aggies have not won in San Angelo, Texas since 2013.

Last time out vs. the Rams:
CU came just four points shy of upsetting the then ranked No. 8 Rams at home back in December, as they fell 81-77. Despite a poor shooting night from the Aggies, Cameron was able to give ASU a run for their money. Momoh led CU with 15 points, while Long and Williams chipped in 12 and 13 respectively. Lorenzo Dillard, who not played since Jan. 21, led the Rams with 21 points.
About Texas A&M-Kingsville:
- The Javelinas have now won four straight after taking down Angelo State in back-to-back contests.
- TAMUK is averaging just 70.6 points per game, but is ranked 16th in the nation in scoring defense, 10th in field goal defense, and first in three point defense; they are also ninth in Division II in turnovers forced.
- Duan Wright is averaging 11.9 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 44.3 percent from the field.
- Trey Sumpter is averaging 11.7 points and a team best 5.1 rebounds, while shooting 44.2 percent from the field.
- Caelan Neal averages 10.2 points, 3.7 rebound, and 2.1 assists, with a 40.6 shooting percentage from three-point range, and he, Sumpter, and Marcus Frazier all average 1.3 steals.

Last time vs. the Javelinas:
CU recorded their first LSC win last time they matched up against TAMUK. The Aggies used a 50-38 second half to get the 78-71 win while both teams shot 44.4 percent from the field. Momoh had 15 points and went 3-6 from three for Cameron, while Sumpter led the Javelinas with 16 points and seven rebounds.
