The Series:
The Black and Gold and the Rangers have met up five times in program history with three of those matches going the way of Northwestern Oklahoma. CU has a 1-0 record against NWOSU in the Aggie Gym, but that win came back in 2013, and they have lost three straight to the Rangers.

About the Aggies:
Cameron is coming off a 1-2 week last week, in which they won a five-set match over East Central and lost to both A&M-Commerce and UT Tyler. They are now 5-12 on the season with four of those wins coming against non-conference opponents. CU averages 11.5 kills and 10.8 assists per set while hitting .175 on the attack. They also record 1.2 service aces per frame and have 113.0 blocks through 17 matches this season.

Freshman Arianna Navarrete leads the team with 134 kills (2.20 k/s) while Shantalle Demirjian is right there behind her with 132 (2.20 k/s). Sarah Wright has also stepped up her game, averaging a team-high 2.35 kills per set. Katherine Manning leads the Aggies with a 5.33 assist per frame average, while Desiree Marmolejo adds 4.00 helpers per set. Navarrete, Manning, and Marmolejo have all recorded over 10 service aces so far this season and account for 40 of CU's 74 in 2019.

Defensively, the Aggies have a trio of players with over 40.0 total blocks this season. Riana Blount leads the way with 47.0, while Walia Franklin is right behind her with 46.0 and Caitlyn Henderson has 41.0. Libero Peyton Little averaged a team-best 3.80 digs per set, while Manning and Marmolejo are second and third on the team with 125 and 114 digs respectively.

Scouting the Rangers:
Northwestern Oklahoma State enters the match against CU with a 14-7 record and are currently on a two-match win streak with victories over Southern Arkansas and Arkansas-Monticello last weekend. They are currently 1-2 against the LSC this year. NWOSU's offensive numbers are similar to Cameron's, but defensively, they hold the edge with 2.3 blocks per set. Kaydee Honeycutt leads the team with 3.08 kills per set, while Kiauna Clark and Jennifer Eubanks both average over 2.70 kills per frame. Their setter, Kaitlyn Robinson, averages 8.40 helpers per set and is tied for the team lead with 22 service aces; libero Sydnee Miller also has 22. Eubanks also provides a force on defense, blocking 1.29 balls per set, while Clark and Alexi Beach both have over 40 total blocks this season.

Up Next:
Cameron is back on the road this weekend as they head to south Texas to face Texas A&M-Kingsville on Friday, Oct. 18, and then Texas A&M International on Saturday, Oct. 19.
