LAWTON, Okla. – The Aggie women's team faced a tough task on Wednesday, taking on the No. 8 ranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos, and fell 7-0 for their second straight loss.

Doubles went the way of UCO, as they won all three matches. The matchup at the one spot was between the No. 27 ranked pairing of Alisa Savina and Rebeka Velasova and their No. 12 ranked counterparts Isabella Dunlap and Paulo Landin. The Bronchos top team showed why they are ranked higher, winning 6-2. Sara Petric and Sarah Frendo battled at No. 2, but eventually fell 7-5.

Four of UCO's six singles players are currently ranked by the ITA, and despite three set battles in three of the matches, the Aggies fell in all six spots. Velasova got an early 1-0 lead over the No. 6 ranked Dunlap with a 6-1 win in the opening frame. Dunlap dominated the final two (6-0, 6-2) to earn the win. Savina battled back from a 6-4 loss to even up the match with a 7-6 win in set two. However, she lost 10-4 in the tiebreaking set.  Petric's match was almost identical, as she fell in the third set 10-8 to the No. 66 ranked Paola Landin.

Cameron, who is now 7-13 on the season, will look to finish the season strong as they visit Newman on Friday and then host rival MSU Texas on Thursday, April 25.
