LAWTON – The Cameron women's golf team is set to compete in their final tournament of the fall, the Texas A&M-Commerce Lion Classic, on Monday and Tuesday at the Texas Rangers Golf Club in Arlington, Texas.

The Aggies are two weeks removed from their last tournament, the Oklahoma Intercollegiate, which was hosted at the Lawton Country Club by the CU women's golf program. In the single-day, 36-hole tournament, Cameron placed seventh with a team score of 646. Junior Iona Roska led the way with a 154, which gave her a share of third place individually.

Roska is one of the seven Aggies competing at the Lion Classic early this week. She leads a grouping that includes Maelle Dreyer, Kyndall Morgan, Gerdur Ragnarsdottir, and Ellie Fellers. Cameron will also have Ashley Davis and Emma Englefield competing as individuals at the recently built Rangers course.

Making up the 10-team field along with CU includes and the tournament host A&M-Commerce are DBU, UT Tyler, Midwestern State, Angelo State, Texas A&M International, UAFS, Texas Wesleyan, and Wayland Baptist.

The Lion Classic begins on Monday at 8:30 AM with a shotgun start. The course will play 6112 yards with a par-72 for the two rounds in Arlington. Live scoring will be provided via the link above.
