RICHARDSON, Texas – The Lone Star Conference announced that 2,667 student-athletes have been recognized for their academic achievements during the 2019-20 spring semester with places on the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Cameron Athletics put a record number of 107 student-athletes on the spring Honor Roll with 46 4.0 GPA's for the semester. The Aggie baseball team landed 19 student-athletes on the list with softball coming in second with 16 of their 18 members earning the honor.

Women's basketball and men's cross country and track followed with 12 each, men's tennis and women's cross country and track placed 10 each on the list, volleyball had seven, men's golf had six, and men's basketball, women's golf, and women's tennis each had five members on the Honor Roll.

In the LSC all-together, 931 (34.9%) of the 2,667 honorees earned a perfect 4.0 GPA for the spring semester. Softball had a league-high 98 student-athletes earn perfect GPAs followed by women's soccer (95), volleyball (86) and women's basketball (83).

The Commissioner's Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters with student-athletes qualifying based on grade point average for the current semester. To be eligible for the honor roll, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 GPA for the current semester and be on the roster.
