Andrew Brown announces the signing of versatile forward Joshua Fanuiel as a part of the 2021 recruiting class.
Fanuiel, a 6-foot-5 big man from Missouri City, Texas, spent his prep time at Ft. Bend Elkins HS. He was a McDonald's All-American nominee, 2019-2020 first team All-District, 2019-20 offensive MVP, and ranked in the RCS Sports top-60 players in Houston.
"Joshua is a complete talent," said Brown about his new forward. "He has good perimeter ability, great touch around the basket, and has a unique ability to score the basketball. He also brings great versatility defensively with his ability to defend all positions."
Fanuiel averaged 13.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting over 50 percent from the field at Elkins HS. He put up 20 points and 11 rebounds against Ridge Point HS and 20 points and 10 rebounds against Summer Creek HS.
With the addition of Fanuiel, the Aggies add unique size, strength, and versatility to the forward position. He is the fourth signee to be announced, joining forward Colt Savage and guards Shem'mario Stephens, John Muhammad, and Deondre Earley.
