Cameron Places 11th at West Regional Preview

DALLAS – Cameron women's golf team finished the West Regional Preview at the Golf Club of Dallas on Tuesday. The Aggies, led by Maelle Dreyer, recorded an 11th-place finish.

CU had a three-round score of 311-304-310—925. Host Dallas Baptist would take the team and individual titles. They had a team score of 285-290-283—858, and Julia Garcia scored 65-74-71—210.

The Aggies made 24 birdies in the tournament, Dreyer sunk a team-high seven, Maria Jose Savoca made six, Ellie Fellers collected five, Ashley Davis made four, and Emma Englefield had two.

Dreyer shot a final round of 78 to have a two-day total of 74-74-78—226, which placed her tied for 24th.

Savoca finished tied for 45th place with a card of 75-81-77—233.

Fellers recorded a score of 80-81-74—235 to tie for 50th.

Davis carded an 82-74-81—237, placing tied for 60th place.

Englefield finished in 79th place, turning in a scorecard of 88-75-84—247.

Cameron returns to Lawton to host the 12th annual Oklahoma Intercollegiate at the Lawton Country Club.
