Odessa, Texas – Cameron falls in straight set to the University of Texas Permian Basin.

The Aggies kept the first set close and were within striking distance before UTPB came out on top 25-22.

The second set was a near mirror image of the first as the Aggies again kept the match close but could not pull out the win as the Falcons again won the set 25-22.

Cameron tried to rally in the third but UTPB pulled out the win in straight sets as they won the third 25-19.

Paris Patterson led the Aggies in scoring, recording 12 points in the contest. Three Aggies, Shelby Rush, Paris Patterson, and Meagan Jimenez recorded double digit digs in the match.

The Aggies fall to 0-5 in conference play and 3-14 overall with the loss to UTPB.  The Aggies look for their first conference win as they face Angelo State at 2:00p.m. on Oct. 7.
