Aggies Start Strong at OBU

SHAWNEE, Okla. – Cameron women's track and field started the track and field outdoor season at the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational on Friday at the Eddie Hurt Jr. Memorial Track.

Genevieve Young placed second in the 800-meters with a time of two minutes and 23.93 seconds, and Melohdee Marroquin came in eighth after crossing the finish line at the 2:28.48 mark.


Daesha Brathwaite ended the 1500-meter race in 11th place with a time of 5:08.97.


In the 5000-meter run, Emma Costantini ran the race with a time of 20:44.34 to place 19th.


Arian Spears competed in the 3000-meter steeplechase in fifth place with a time of 12:36.39.


The Aggies will return to Shawnee on Saturday to conclude the OBU Invitational.
