Cameron Ranks No. 1 in Final South Central Ranking

TEMPE, Ariz. – Cameron closes out the year as the top-ranked team in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) final Regional rankings.

The Aggies held a 9-1 record in the region this spring, leading them to a Lone Star Conference regular season championship and the top seed in the South Central Regional on the way to the National Championship.

Vasilisa Polunova finished the year as the third-ranked individual after boasting a 14-4 record at the No. 1 slot for CU. Anastasia Uspenskaia tied as the sixth-best single with a 9-6 record as No. 2, and Kateryna Rudenko comes in ranked 13 after having a 14-2 record and winning her final 13 matches.

The team of Polunova and Uspenskaia closed the year at third in the region after turning in a 12-3 campaign this spring at No. 1 doubles.
