Women's Tennis Defeats Hawai'i-Hilo at Home, 4-2

Lawton, OK - The Cameron University Women's tennis team defeated University of Hawai'i at Hilo Tuesday afternoon, 4-2.

In doubles play, Adel Ismagulova and Isabella Quintero took the first win 6-0, with Daniela Maldonado and Alexa Garcia would get the second win to clinch the doubles point, 6-3.

In singles play, Jenna Goessel would win straight sets to secure the first point on No. 1 court. Alexa Garcia won straight sets on No. 3 court to put the Aggies up 3-0 in the match. Adel Ismagulova lost to Pia Starnecker on No. 2 court to give Hawai'i-Hilo their first point. Isabella Quintero went three sets against Mila Srebro on No. 4 court but fell 6-3 in the final set.Cameron would still lead the match 3-2. Alexa Lugo was able to win straight sets to secure the match for Cameron 4-2.
