Lawton, Okla. - The Cameron University women's basketball fell to Pittsburg State University, 73-51, as part of the Fairfield Inn & Suites Holiday Classic. In the first quarter, the Cameron Aggies battled offensively, scoring 11 points and trailed Pittsburg State 22–11 going into the second. The Aggies responded with in the second quarter, controlling the glass and shooting effectively to cut the deficit to eight points before halftime. Pittsburg State's defensive attack held the Aggies to 14 points in the third quarter, and the Lady Gorillas offense responded by shooting 53% from the field and hit 4 three-pointers to extend their lead. The fourth quarter saw Pittsburg State hold onto its lead to close out the game.
