Tyler, Texas- Men's and Women's Tennis Teams drop matches to Auburn Montgomery while competing at the Gulf South crossover event in Tyler this weekend. This match was the second match for the Aggies for the trip which will conclude with a match Sunday morning at 9am against West Florida.

Nationally ranked #2 Uspenskaia and Goessel defeat #15 Ibarra and Garcia 6-2 but the Aggies were unable to capture the doubles point with losses at #2 and #3 doubles. Senior
Magda Wawrowska was able to pull the win for Cameron at #3 singles in the match 6-4, 6-2 to earn her first singles win of the spring season.Â
Cameron Men 3 | Auburn Montomery 4
The Aggies were able to start of the match capturing the doubles point by picking up wins at #2 and #3 doubles 6-3 and 7-5. Into the singles, the Aggies were able to pick up the win at #2 singles when
Noe Milliard collected the 7-5, 6-3 victory.
Vicente Preto also won at #5 singles in a back and forth match 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 to move the Aggies to 3 team points one shy of Auburn Montgomery.
