Edmond, Okla- The Women's Golf team showed resilience at the Diffy Ford Lincoln Invitational at the Kickingbird Country Club this week in Edmond as they finished tied for 5th place in the 16 team field. Strong winds and changing weather made play difficult for the golfers, but the Aggies persevered for a strong finish.

For individual play, Maria Jose Savoca lead the Aggies finishing the tournament in 8th place with a score of 149 followed by Alexis Webb shooting 151 for 13th. Rounding out the scorecard for the team was Malerie Nyberg at 30th with 155 strokes while Valentina Leya shot 159 to finish in 47th place. Mollie Wheeler missed the scorecard but finished 59th with a 163 and Jacinta Massie who played as an individual shot a 158 over the two days and finished 41st.

The golf team will be back in action next week in Magnolia, Arkansas as they will participate in the Arkansas Intercollegiate March 10-11th. Check back here for livescoring link the day of the event.
