Lawton, Okla- The Men's Tennis team sweeps Division II opponent Newman in their first of 5 in 7 days as the Aggies take part in a GAC/MIAA crossover event in Wichita Falls. Cameron will host several matches at home and some will be played across the border. The men win all 7 points in their D2 home opener by taking all 9 matches.
Doubles play started the Aggies off strong picking up all three doubles sets. All three of Cameron's doubles teams earned an early break and lead the Jets to finish each earning the doubles point. #1 doubles pairing of
Rhys Edwards and
Noe Milliard picked up the first set, 6-2, followed by
Kristian Kubik and
Lachlan Setina with a 6-2 win at #2, and
Louis Boilevin and
Brendan Lock wrap up with a 6-3 win at the #3 spot.
The Jets didn't get any relief in singles play as #4 singles
Pavel Kelo started off the Aggies with a 6-2,6-0 win. Pavel's win lead the momentum with #3

Vicente Preto wrapped up singles play for the Aggies winning 6-2, 6-4 and 6-3, 6-0 respectively.
The Aggies are scheduled to play former LSC opponent Arkansas-Ft. Smith Saturday in Wichita Falls then will return home Sunday at 1pm to play NW Missouri St at the Striech-Henry Family Tennis Complex at Cameron.
