LAWTON, Ok — Cameron men's tennis finished their 2025 season at the Lone Star Conference against Midwestern State University on Thursday, 0-4.
On May 1st, Head Coach Josh Cobble and the men's tennis team traveled to Arlington, TX for the Lone Star Conference Championship Quarterfinals. To begin the championship weekend, the No. 5 Aggies met the No. 4 Mustangs at 9am. Cameron started very competitively with Kristian Kubik and Noe Milliard in doubles #1. The two won their first game against the No. 12 pair of Stephen Slocombe and Filip Vacula. The match was back and forth but Midwestern State pulled out the win, 4-6.
For doubles #2, Lukas Janousek and Lachlan Setina jumped out ahead two games in front of the Mustangs. However, the Midwestern States pair came back to win the match, 4-6. With doubles #1 and #3 finished, Rhys Edwards and Vicente Preto's #2 match was cut short and unfinished. In order of finish, Raphael Valente dropped singles #6. Singles #3 with Vicente Preto and Lukas Janousek in singles #5 fell in their matches. Cameron has concluded their 2025 season in the quarterfinals of the Lone Star Conference Championships.
