After the first quarter, Cameron would find themselves trailing, 16-12. The Aggies would fight their way back and take the lead going into halftime, 30-27. After the half, Cameron would be in a back-and-forth battle with UT Permian Basin and the score would be tied, 38-38, at the end of the third quarter.
