Lawton, Oklahoma - The Cameron University men's basketball team fell to St. Edward's University Thursday evening. St. Edward's pulled ahead to an early lead and the Aggies found themselves in a double-digit deficit. Cameron would begin to work their way back from the deficit, but with the Aggies shooting under 30% in the first half, they would end up trailing the Hilltoppers going to halftime, 32-21. Coming out into the second half, St. Edward's would continue to extend their lead, but with about 11 minutes left in the game, Cameron began to battle their way back with full-court pressure. The Aggies would find momentum through key steals and game-shifting 3-pointers to find themselves only down by 1 point in the final minutes. St. Edward's would ultimately manage to hold off the Aggies' effort and secure the victory.
