Lubbock, Texas - On Saturday afternoon, Cameron University women's basketball team lost to Lubbock Christian University. Cameron came out strong in the opening quarter, with Emery Elizondo leading the offense with five points as the Aggies took a 16–12 lead going into the second quarter. Lubbock Christian answered in the second quarter, finding their rhythm on the offensive end and went into halftime with Cameron trailing, 30-27. The Aggies had trouble scoring in the third quarter and were behind 54–39 going into the final quarter. LCU continued to shoot efficiently down the stretch, building on their lead and closing out the game.
