Laredo, Texas. - The Cameron University women's basketball team dropped the contest to Texas A&M International University Sunday afternoon. The Aggies started strong against the Dustdevils early on in the first quarter, holding the lead 19-14 going into the second quarter. Cameron would find themselves in a back-and-forth battle, where TAMIU would pull ahead going into the half to lead, 34-32. TAMIU would gradually extend their lead throughout the third quarter, but Cameron would keep it close, only trailing 60-51. TAMIU would hold on to the lead through the fourth quarter and secure the victory.
