Lawton, Okla - The Cameron University Men's tennis team defeated Cowley College on Thursday afternoon, 5-2. 

The Aggies started off doubles with a win on the No. 3 court, with freshman Tom Debonne and Zoheir Fardoun winning 6-3. Cowley responded with wins on the No. 1 and No. 2 courts to take the doubles point.

In singles play, Luca Laurindo beat Santiago Ledesma in straight sets to put Cowley up 2-0. #5 Lukas Janousek beat Haruki Okude, 6-0, 6-3, on the No. 1 court to put Cameron on the board. On the No. 2 court, Noe Milliard picked up a straight-set victory to even the match at 2-2. Abubakari Yakubu-Lea earned a three-set win over Wojceich Biela, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, on the No. 4 court. Ulysse Esphahani grabbed a straight-set win on the No. 6 court to clinch match point for Cameron. To wrap up the day, Pavel Kelo won in a third-set super tiebreaker, 6-1, 5-7, 10-7, over Guilherme Coehlo on the No. 5 court.
