Women's Basketball Falls Short to Oklahoma Christian at Home

Lawton, Okla.  - The Cameron University Women's basketball team fell to Oklahoma Christian University in a rematch Tuesday evening. The Aggies struggled to find their rhythm early, allowing the Eagles to gain momentum in the opening quarter. However, Cameron responded late in the first and into the second quarter, converting on Oklahoma Christian's turnovers to trim the deficit heading into halftime.The third quarter featured a competitive back-and-forth battle, with both teams trading scoring opportunities. A key three-pointer by Mercedes Mancha provided a spark for the Aggies and helped shift the momentum. Cameron continued to battle throughout the fourth quarter, but the Eagles ultimately closed out the contest to secure the win.
