Dallas, Texas – The Cameron University Men's tennis team opened up the spring season with a victory over Southern Arkansas University, 5-2. The Aggies begin the spring season with a singles player and a doubles pair nationally ranked.

Noe Milliard defeated Uwe Diehl and Jonas Sommar in a tiebreak, 7-6 (7-3) and
Santiago Ledesmas and Abubakar Yakubu-Lea tallied a 6-3 victory on the No. 2 court.

Lukas Janousek picked up the first singles point for Cameron, winning in straight sets over Lucas Nitzschke. On the No. 4 court,
Santiago Ledesma earned a 6-4, 6-4 victory to put the Aggies up 3-0. Freshman
Tom Debonne tallied a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Southern Arkansas' Shun Wakino to secure match point. The Muleriders picked up a point on the No. 2 court after Frode Neumann won in straight sets over
Noe Milliard. Southern Arkansas earner another point on the No. 3 court after Balsa Djokovic picked up a three-set win over
Abubakari Yakubu-Lea, 6-1, 3-6, 6-4.
Ulysse Esphahani closed out the day for Cameron with a win on the No. 5 court over SAU's Uwe Diehl in a third set tiebreaker.
