Lawton, Okla. - Cameron University Volleyball returned to Aggie Gym for its 2026 home opener Tuesday night, battling Southern Nazarene University in front of a large energetic crowd. The Aggies took the second set and remained competitive throughout the night before falling in four sets, 25-16, 20-25, 25-22, 25-20.
After Southern Nazarene took the opening set, Cameron responded with one of its strongest stretches of the young season. The Aggies built a 19-12 advantage in the second behind a balanced attack and a service ace from Sydney Walker before Lillian Carollo delivered the final kill in a 25-20 set victory.
Cameron carried that momentum into a back-and-forth third set, building an early 14-7 lead before Southern Nazarene rallied. The Aggies battled back to tie the set at 22-22, but the Crimson Storm scored the final three points for a 25-22 win before closing the match 25-20 in the fourth. Despite the result, Cameron showed encouraging stretches throughout its home debut while receiving strong support from the 716 fans in attendance.

Key Performers
Maria Osorio led the Cameron attack with 12 kills on 36 attempts. She added four digs, one solo block and two block assists, finishing with a team-high 14 points.
Anastasija Andelic turned in a strong all-around performance with six kills and a match-high 20 digs, providing Cameron with production on both sides of the ball.
Sydney Walker recorded a team-high 18 assists while adding 10 digs, two kills and a service ace.
Mavery Salisbury added 13 assists and a service ace while helping direct the Cameron offense.
Lillian Carollo provided an efficient performance at the net, finishing with four kills on 13 attacks without an error for a .308 hitting percentage. She also added a block assist.
Addison McClure added 11 digs and two assists defensively for the Aggies.
