Lawton, Okla. - The Cameron University Volleyball team continued play at the Cameron University Invitational Saturday morning against Quincy University inside Aggie Gym. The Aggies battled the Hawks throughout the opening set before falling in three, 25-23, 25-14, 25-19. Cameron rallied from a four-point deficit in the first and briefly took a 22-21 lead before Quincy closed out a 25-23 win. The Hawks carried the momentum into the second, using a late run to take the set 25-14. Cameron responded with a strong start in the third, building a 5-1 advantage behind consecutive service aces from Madison Waiki and later leading 16-12 following a kill from Maria Osorio. Quincy answered with a run of its own and pulled away for the 25-19 victory to close the match.

Taylor Silva led the Cameron attack with a team-high seven kills on 27 attempts. She also contributed five digs and finished with seven points.
Lillian Carollo provided an efficient performance at the net, recording five kills on 10 attacks with just one error for a team-best .400 hitting percentage. She also added a block assist and finished with 5.5 points.
Maria Osorio added four kills on 23 attempts while contributing one dig and a block assist, finishing with 4.5 points.

The Aggies battled through a pair of close opening sets before falling in three, 25-22, 26-24, 25-18. Cameron opened strong with an 8-3 advantage in the first before the RiverHawks rallied late to take the set. The Aggies built a 15-9 lead in the second behind a service run from Mavery Salisbury and battled to a 24-24 tie before NSU scored the final two points. Cameron held another early advantage in the third, but the RiverHawks used a run midway through the frame to pull away. Maria Osorio led Cameron with 12 kills while hitting .250, Madison Waiki recorded a team-high 16 digs, and Salisbury finished with 18 assists. Cameron moves to 0-8 on the season, while Northeastern State improves to 1-7.
