Cameron University Athletics

2018 (Junior):
- Made 11 starts and 13 appearances as a junior for the Aggies, posting a 1-8 record in 70.2 innings of work.
- Garza had a team high 60 strikeouts, including 25 batters looking (5th best in the LSC) and recorded three complete games.
- He went 8.1 innings with eight Ks, while giving up just one run on two hits against Oklahoma Christian (3/2) and had a season best nine strikeouts in seven innings against Northwest Missouri State (2/17). 

2017 (Sophomore):
- Served as the Aggies main starting pitcher, appearing in 14 games and starting a team best 10.
- In 55.2 innings of work, Garza (5-4) posted a 5.34 ERA while striking out 46 batters and holding them to a .296 batting average.
- He struck out a season high eight batters in the win over UTPB on April 8 and struck out six against Tarleton State on March 10. 

2016 (Freshman):
- In relief against SNU (2/12), he pitched 1 inning and struck out all 3 batters.-
- In relief against Kingsville (3/4), he pitched 2.1 innings with 4 strikeouts.

High School:
- Two year letterman for baseball
- 2015 1st team All District Pitcher
- 2014 State Runner Up.
- 2015 Texas All Star Showcase

Personal:
- Came to Cameron from San Antonio, TX.
- Brother, Josh, played baseball two years at Blinn Junior College and one at Corpus Christi.
- Outside of baseball, Garza enjoys fishing, hunting, and wake boarding.
- Something interesting about Garza is that he wants to become a Navy Seal.
- Majoring in Sports and Exercise Science
