Smith (2/16)... won 8-6 in doubles with Merdan and scored a 7-5, 6-0 win in singles against Ouachita Baptist (2/17)...Named Lone Star Conference Player of the Week 2/21... scored an 8-3 win in doubles with Merdan and a 6-0, 6-0 perfect match in singles against Colorado State-Pueblo (3/1)... earned an 8-3 win with Merdan in doubles and won 6-0, 6-1 in singles against East Central (3/1)... posted 8-2 in doubles and a 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 win in singles against Southwest Baptist (3/2)... scored a 6-2, 6-0 to win singles and teamed up with Merdan to win doubles 8-4 against Colorado State-Pueblo (3/11)... 2011-12 (Freshman): Posted a 21-6 season including a 6-1 mark in the fall and a seven game win streak ... finished season with his second seven straight singles match win streak ... ranked seventh regionally for 11 weeks in singles, ranked fifth regionally for eight weeks in doubles ... won 2-1 at number three singles in the Lone Star Conference Tournament... Named Lone Star Conference Player of the Week on April 18.
